The Sluggett Post Office was located near what is now the intersection of West Saanich Road and Marchant Road.

It appears in Chapter 1 of our Butchart Gardens History in relation to Peter Fernie, who was a principal of the Saanich Lime Company . The 1893 Victoria City Directory lists Peter Fernie as a “lumberman” with an address of Sluggett Post Office.
