Alexander Stephens Butchart (1872-1940) was the younger brother of David Martin Butchart and Robert Pim Butchart.
In 1902 he became a shareholder in the Lakefield Portland Cement Company of Lakefield, Ontario. He later became Superintendent of the Lakefield Portland Cement Company operations at Lakefield, Ontario.
Alexander Stephens Butchart is buried in Greenwood cemetery, Owen Sound, Ontario.
