Eric W. Hamber (1879-1960)

Eric Werge Hamber (1879-1960) was, among other things, the 15th Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia (1936-1941). He comes into Butchart Gardens History in his capacity as a member of the British Columbia Advisory Board of the Toronto General Trusts Corporation. Robert Butchart was also on this Advisory Board, along with Vancouver lawyer A.H. MacNeill, K.C. and Victoria businessman Frederick P. Pemberton.
